Dear Parents/Guardians,
In order to achieve their Science GCSEs, Year 11 pupils need to complete practical exams that count for 10% of their final grade. For double award qualifications they must complete 2 practical exams and for the triple science pathway they must complete 3 practical exams. Attendance for these practical exams is essential.
Each practical exam must be completed in 2 parts during an exam window set by the WJEC, before being sent off for external marking. We have been running mock examinations to prepare pupils for the exam and there is revision material available on your child’s Google classroom.
