Year 11 transition evening - 5:00 pm Tuesday 21 January

Dear Year 11 Parent / Carers

We are approaching the time of year when we begin to consider the transition programme and arrangements for pupils in year 11 who are considering studying A Levels on completion of their GCSE studies.

All Year 11 pupils and their parents/guardians are invited to attend our Year 11 Options evening.  The purpose of this evening will be to inform you of the courses available to your child in Year 12, in addition to sharing further information about what your child can expect as a St Cenydd 6th Form student. There will also be an opportunity to speak with our Subject Leaders about what their courses have to offer.

In preparation for this event all Year 11 pupils will be given a copy of the KS5 prospectus; this will also be available on the Options page within the student tab on our school website after the event.

We look forward to working with your child through this important process and look forward to meeting with you on Tuesday 21 January 2025.
