Dear Parent / Carer,
Next Wednesday the 16th of October is national Restart a Heart Day, and we plan to train all of Year 8 in basic lifesaving skills. We will be using an exciting new resource from the British Heart Foundation which uses the latest digital technology to support their learning. Your child will have the opportunity to learn CPR skills, defibrillator awareness and gain a certificate. If there has been an event which may mean your child is more sensitive to the learning contained in this lesson, then please let us know via reception so that we can take this into account.
