The school has well established lockdown arrangements in place, in line with Welsh Government advice, should the need arise to secure the site during the school day. In the event of the lockdown alarm sounding, pupils know that they should go indoors and follow the instructions of staff. There are many possible reasons why this might be used, such as on the advice of the Police or Fire Service due to an incident nearby or an intruder on site. Should the school enter a lockdown we will inform parents / carers as soon as is reasonably practicable. Please do not come to the school as nobody will be able to enter or leave the site, and staff will be prioritizing pupil safety.
