During the last week of term Sixth Form students Joe Candy and Sam Jones organised a chess tournament, as part of their work with the school’s sixth form student body.
Throughout the day students from years 7 through to years 10 battled it out, all of them determined to succeed and win the title. It was a very closely fought competition with Curtis Reid eventually breaking through to become our school champion and Zach Hutchinson and Alex Jackson taking a very close second and third position. Well done to everyone that took part in this very enjoyable tournament.
