As part of our ongoing commitment to prepare our students for lifelong learning, we were pleased to welcome Barclays Bank to St Cenydd on Tuesday 5 March. This was the second of four visits arranged for this academic year. During this visit, Year 8 pupils were involved in a series of workshops which required pupils to explore the value of money. Pupils considered the terms 'income', 'expenditure', 'balance' and savings'. The feedback was extremely positive, with 98% of pupils rating the workshop as 'good' or 'excellent'. We received many positive comments throughout the day and we look forward to welcoming Barclays back later in the year.
