This year, Year 8 took part in the NHS initiative - 'Just B Smoke Free'. Ambassadors were selected by their peers and took part in a number of workshops to learn about smoking and vaping and the effects on their health. 

Amongst other things, pupils learnt about some of the 5000 chemicals in cigarettes, practised skills to make them confident ambassadors, learnt about the health effects of smoking and found out about the production of tobacco manufacturing and the retailing of cigarettes. 

Pupils will now share their knowledge with their peers, advising them about the negative health effects of smoking and vaping.
