The Welsh and Home Economics departments within our school collaborated on a cross-curricular bilingual event for Year seven and eight students to celebrate the Welsh Saint of Love, Santes Dwynwen, and to experience using Welsh in a different environment.

Twenty students were able to take part in the event during lunchtime and enjoyed making truffles as can be seen in the pictures below. The students and the teachers involved thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
