On Tuesday 5th March a group of year 7 pupils visited Ogmore Beach. This was an educational visit for pupils involved with the WildEd Project (Action for Conservation) so that they could conduct a litter pick and take photographs of the pollution levels for use in their upcoming presentations.
The girls are very passionate about their chosen theme of 'plastic pollution' and their enthusiasm shone through this morning while collecting four bags of litter in 1 1/2 hours that they were at the beach!
It was lovely to see the pupils demonstrating the message that everyone should take responsibility for the planet and show respect the environment. Well done, girls!
