In February half-term, we took a trip to Lesotho with 11 pupils through Dolen Cymru, a charity that has a working relationship between Wales and Lesotho. Whilst we were there, St Cenydd were tasked to team up with Matikoe High School. They welcomed us and made us feel really special. We have created a positive working link that we hope to continue with. They showed us their education system, and we had the opportunity to teach their pupils first aid, maths, biology and dance. We also experienced breathtaking views and trips to culturally significant places. Our staff and pupils had an unforgettable time, one that was humbling and awe-inspiring. We are looking forward to them visiting us at St Cenydd this summer and hosting them as well as they hosted us.
