The Geography Association provided a select group of students the opportunity to attend a virtual, interactive session hosted by Dr Liam Saddington, a lecturer from Oxford University who has gained a considerable number of awards for his research and work on Climate Change.
Along with a range of other schools, this session allowed students to be taught by leaders in the field of climate change and learn alongside other students within the national education community.
As a school, we are immensely proud of the students that participated and showcased their knowledge and understanding of Geography during this prestigious learning opportunity, with many of our students’ thoughts and ideas being addressed and praised directly by Dr Saddington during the session. The Geography department were ecstatic to showcase the incredible learning and enthusiasm for the subject and the world our learners here in St Cenydd have.
