Thirty year 9 pupils got the opportunity to develop some lifesaving skills, and find out more about studying medicine during a visit from Cardiff School of Medicine. Pupils got to grips with CPR and the science behind the heart with the help of Sarah, a fourth year medical student, and her tutor Dr Stanton. School staff also supported the session and everyone got the chance to try out CPR on the Resui Anne manikins. There was a question and answer session where pupils could find out more about how to apply for medicine and how their science studies linked to the profession.
